First we’ll get the serial number off your radio, then we’ll unlock it.

CD 1-6 Audi Symphony Serial starts with AUZ, on the label
You will needFour radio release keys (flat U-shaped pins) for the corner holes , a few pounds from any motor factor.
  1. 1The serial is not shown on screen : the unit has to come out.
  2. 2Insert a release key into each of the four corner holes of the fascia.
  3. 3Apply gentle outward pressure; the unit slides forward. No wires need disconnecting.
  4. 4The serial is on the label on the back of the casing, starting AUZ.

Don’t force it. If it will not slide out the keys are not fully clicked in, and forcing it can break the cage behind the dashboard.
