What you're buying

My Radio Code sells car radio unlock codes for £4.99 per code, flat rate, for every supported make and model. You enter your radio's serial number, we check it against our database, and if we hold the matching code we let you know before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your code is displayed on screen immediately after payment and emailed to you as a backup.

Before you pay

We only ask for payment once we've confirmed we hold a code matching your serial number. If we don't have a match, you won't be charged. Entering a serial number and checking for a match is free.

Digital content and your right to cancel

Unlock codes are digital content delivered immediately on payment, not physical goods. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel a distance-sale contract does not apply once delivery of digital content has begun with your consent. And by clicking "Pay & get my code", you're asking us to deliver your code immediately and agreeing that your right to cancel ends at that point.

This doesn't affect the money-back guarantee below, which is more generous than the legal minimum and applies regardless of when you ask for a refund.

Money-back guarantee

If the code we provide does not unlock your radio, email help@myradiocode.co.uk and we will refund you in full. No forms, no waiting, no questions asked. We ask that you double-check the serial number was entered correctly and follow your radio's code-entry procedure before requesting a refund, since incorrect entry is the most common reason a correct code appears not to work.

What we don't cover

We provide unlock codes for the factory-fitted radios in the makes listed on this site, plus aftermarket Blaupunkt units. We can't help with other aftermarket head units (Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC and similar), or with a radio that has been permanently locked out after too many incorrect code attempts. Check your vehicle handbook for how many attempts your radio allows before you enter any code.

Storing your code

If you lose your code, get it sent again free of charge using your serial number and the email address you ordered with. Your code is generated from your radio's serial number and does not change, so we recommend keeping it somewhere safe.

Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the code. We are not liable for any wider cost or inconvenience arising from a locked radio, incorrect code entry, or a radio that locks permanently after repeated incorrect attempts. We always recommend checking your vehicle handbook before entering any code.
