Which Jaguar models do you support?

We support Jaguar X-Type and S-Type fitted with Visteon radios. These display an M-prefix serial number. We do not currently support Alpine radios (which show a JACC-prefix serial).

How do I find my Jaguar radio serial?

With the ignition on and the radio showing CODE, press and hold preset buttons 2 and 6 simultaneously. The serial number starting with M will appear on the display.

What is the difference between a Visteon and Alpine Jaguar radio?

Visteon radios show an M-prefix serial (M followed by 6 digits). Alpine radios show a JACC-prefix serial (14 characters starting with JA). We support the Visteon M-serial type only.

Why was Jaguar fitted with Visteon radios?

Jaguar was owned by Ford Motor Company from 1990 to 2008. During this period, Ford's parts subsidiary Visteon supplied OEM radios to Jaguar, using the same M-serial locking system as other Ford-group vehicles.
