How many preset buttons does your radio have?
These are the numbered station buttons along the bottom of the radio itself, not on the steering wheel. Count them, then tap the one that matches.

If your Smart 450 has a Grundig radio rather than a Becker, we cannot help from the serial. Its code cannot be worked out from the serial at all. It has to be read from the unit itself, so we will not sell you one and you will not be charged. Get in touch and we will tell you what your options are.

Frequently asked questions
Smart radios lock themselves when power is disconnected, typically after a battery change, a flat battery, or when the radio has been removed. Entering the correct code unlocks it.
Use the radio's preset buttons to enter the code, then confirm. The exact button sequence varies by model. Your owner's manual has the steps for your unit, and the code comes with the radio type and serial we used, so you can check it matches your unit.
