Frequently asked questions

Yes. Ford factory-fitted Sony radios (CD132 and CD133, fitted to Focus, Mondeo, Transit, Fiesta and others from 2004–2015) are fully supported. These are genuine OEM units that use a V-serial number (e.g. V123456), the same system as all other Ford factory radios. Hold buttons 1 and 6 for 3 seconds to display the serial on screen.

If you have replaced your radio with a non-Ford aftermarket unit (Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.), we cannot help with those, contact the manufacturer or retailer instead.

Some radios display the serial only briefly or require a specific key position. Try these steps:

  1. Turn the ignition on (not the engine)
  2. Wait 3–5 seconds and look at the display
  3. The serial may appear for just a second before cycling to "LOCKED"
  4. If it doesn't show, remove the radio and check for a sticker label with the serial on the back or side

If you still cannot find it, contact us and we can help you identify the serial.

Ford radios can lock permanently after 3–10 incorrect code attempts. Do not guess. Before entering any code, make sure you have the correct serial.

If you've already locked the radio:

  • Turn the ignition off and wait 30 minutes
  • Try the correct code again
  • If it still doesn't work, contact us immediately. Your situation may be recoverable with a Ford dealer reset

We offer a 100% money back guarantee. If the code we provide doesn't unlock your radio, we'll refund you in full.

Yes. Ford dealers can provide codes for free if you prove ownership with your V5C and photo ID. However:

  • Most dealers charge a fee for the service
  • It takes several working days
  • You need to visit the dealer in person
  • Some dealers refuse if your car is no longer registered at that dealer

Our £4.99 service delivers instantly online, 24/7. For most people, it's faster and cheaper than the dealer.

Yes. We do not store your serial number, vehicle details, or personal information beyond what's needed to process your order. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We never see your card details.

Your unlock code is emailed to you immediately and stored securely. We do not sell or share any of your data.
